everywhere, in towns ppl are alwyas seling swords, just keep an eye out for "wts sword" and ull find ppl selling, besides that, u can find them anywhere as well, monsters drop them

Any monster can drop a sword. Now if you are asking about a particular sword such as dragon sword, particular stats such as fiery, or particular damage such 15 - 22 then that is a different topic.

If you create a Warrior, you even get a starter sword for free.

...although I wouldn't recommend using it for very long. I found it akin to striking mobs with a nerf baseball bat.
